Referral

Referrals are sent by secure HIN message; your patient then receives a personal link from us for the diagnostic appointments. The referral page lists what should come with it and what you get back — it is laid out to be printed.

To referrals

Diagnostics

As a referring physician you are welcome to order indirect calorimetry, bioimpedance analysis, OGTT and metabolic laboratory tests.

On request you receive a patient pathway, so that you can continue caring for the patient yourself and, where appropriate, set up (self-pay) pharmacotherapy.

For other forms of cooperation, please get in touch.

Bedside teaching · obesity module

Understanding obesity — not just treating it

Textbooks explain the theory. At the bedside you see what actually matters.

Two days, run as a hybrid — online and live with us in Winterthur. You follow our team through the whole course of care: from screening and history through metabolic assessment (indirect calorimetry, BIA, OGTT) to nutrition, exercise, drug and bariatric treatment. No lecturing — real cases, real questions, real patients.

Who is it for?

Anyone who meets obesity in daily work: medical assistants and coordinators, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, psychologists, dietitians, physiotherapists and physicians.

Theory in self-study, practice at the bedside — and a team that has done nothing but try to understand obesity for years.
